Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Crisis of Canadian Liberty - Part 1
The Admirer of Dictators
I am nothing of a political expert, Canadian or otherwise. Before the start of 2020 I knew what would constitute as statistically nothing about politics or my Canadian Federal, Provincial, or even Municipal governments. I was, by all definitions of the term, a bad democratic citizen. As Brian Peckford (the only remaining living author if the Canadian Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms) would say, a democracy is only as good as the level of participation of its citizens.
Given what us Canadians have allowed to happen over the years of the pandemic, and the direction our governments have been allowed to travel, I fear that many of us have been bad democratic citizens.
Where my knowledge base does lay is in health, nutrition, human physiology, and the ability to, somewhat competently, research and review peer reviewed literature. Because of this, I was able to catch on very quickly to the nonsense of nearly every public health measure that was implemented by our governments during the pandemic and dig for the truth. While it’s not the topic of this article, here are some examples of what our governments got completely wrong.
Using a COVID-19 test that was widely criticized, and now known, to produce a high rate of false positives (up to 90% depending on cycle threshold); thereby, exaggerating case counts, and painting a picture of an emergency that probably wasn’t really an emergency.
Implementing lockdowns and quarantine of people without symptoms. These measures have never been considered in pandemic planning or used in the history of pandemics. Not only that, we also know they have had terrible impacts on mortality, morbidity, and the economy, and they did nothing to reduce mortality from COVID-19.
Implementing mask mandates. Masks do not work against airborne, aerosolized respiratory viruses. This has been known for decades and backed by scientific evidence.
Not aggressively searching for repurposed drugs. There are/were many promising drugs for early treatment of COVID-19, yet the government put almost no money and attention in this area. In fact, they aggressively censored and tried to discredit anything being promoted as a treatment option. (FYI, if there was an approved treatment, they could not legally have used emergency authorization for the vaccines, think about that for one sec!)
Providing zero early treatment suggestions to physicians. If someone tested positive, they were told to go home until they have problems breathing, then go to the hospital. Can anyone say, “medical negligence”? When have we never actively NOT treated people for a potentially dangerous condition?
Not putting a huge focus on weight management, vitamin D status/supplementation, and overall general health. These are the main, proven risk factors (other than age) of serious COVID-19 outcomes, yet they were almost entirely absent from the messaging from the government and media.
Aggressively pushing a vaccine based on experimental, quasi-gene-therapy technology that has never been used in humans and has been rushed to market in about 1/10th of the time a typical vaccine takes for development and testing. The vaccines were known early on to be non-sterilizing, and narrowly targeted (only to the spike protein of the original strain) yet the well-known issue of viral immune escape (similar to antibiotic resistance in bacteria) was never mentioned in the public sphere. Additionally, original antigenic sin, antibody dependent enhancement and immune exhaust were also never mentioned by our authorities. These are all well established phenomenon present in the scientific literature, yet they were simply ignored. Unfortunately, what has occurred over the last 15 or so months provides evidence that these concerns are likely happening. Oh yes, and don’t forget the absolute silence on the significant number of deaths and side effects reported to vaccine injury reporting systems around the world. Nothing to see there, right?
Since none of the measures made any sense, were honestly the opposite of what should have been done and violated much of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, many questions began to swirl in my head and a fire was light in me to find out what in the world was happening.
Were our governments and health officials just totally incompetent or was there some agenda other than protecting the population at hand? If they were simply incompetent, by random chance they would have at least got something right, but they did not. Suspicious isn’t it!
I wanted answers and I realized I needed to learn about Canadian (and world) politics and government immediately! Below are the many concerning things I have found out about our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and why I think he and other are a danger to our democracy.
“If you have to comply with x, y, or z to get your freedoms, they are not freedoms, they are privileges granted by an authoritarian government, or other authoritative power”, quote by me.
Law Breaker
I would like to think that our Prime Ministers are outstanding, ethical, law-abiding Canadian citizens leading up to and during their terms as Prime Minister.
But nobody in their right mind has ever actually believed that statement about government agents…right? Governments around the world are littered with ethical, moral, legal, and financial scandals/corruption, most of which never make it to the ears of the public, but enough have come to light for most people to have a skeptical view of government official.
Until the COVID-19 pandemic that is. This is when most people began to blindly believe governments they used to be skeptical of.
2014 and 2016-2017 Vacations to Bells Cay
In 2017 Justin Trudeau took a family vacation to Bells Cay, a Private Island in the Bahamas owned by the Aga Khan. The Aga Khan is the founder and chair of the board of directors of the Aga Khan Development Network, the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (Foundation) and the Global Centre for Pluralism. He has a long‑standing relationship with the Government of Canada, which since 1981 has contributed nearly $330 million to projects supported by the Foundation. The Aga Khan developed a friendship with Mr. Trudeau's father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, in the late 1960s.
These vacations were investigated by the Conflicts of Interest and Ethics Commissioner of Canada.
The Commissioner found that Prime Minister Trudeau violated section 11, 21, 5, and 12 of the Conflict of Interest Act. These sections prohibit members, public office holders, and members of their families from accepting gifts that might reasonably be seen to have been given to influence them in the exercise of an official power, duty, or function. In the Act, there is an exception for gifts from relatives or friends that is not found in the Members' Code.
Since Justin Trudeau had no personal or private interactions with the Aga Khan and his family between 1983 and April 2013, when he became Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, except for his father's funeral in 2000, the commissioner found the renewed relationship and vacation related gifts to be in violation of the Act.
Basically, accepting these gifts is considered a form of bribery.
Now get this, the results of Ethics Act violation investigations get sent to the Prime Minster’s office along with suggested penalties. From what I understand, the Prime Minster decides if the penalties will be enforced.
Yup, Justin Trudeau gets to decide if he will punish himself! Seriously?
In this situation, Trudeau was deemed to have broken 4 ethics laws.
Criminal Prosecution Involving SNC-Lavalin
This situation involved Trudeau’s attempted influence of the Attorney General’s decision regarding criminal prosecution of the company SNC-Lavalin. Here is a direct quote from the Ethics Commissioner’s report summarizing the situation.
The final ruling on this matter by the Commissioner, was that Justin Trudeau violated section 9 of the Ethics Act because he sought to influence the Attorney General and by doing so, the actions of Mr. Trudeau and his staff sought to improperly further the interests of SNC-Lavalin.
In this situation, Justin Trudeau was deemed to have broken 1 ethics law.
This is a total of 5 laws Prime Minister Trudeau has been confirmed to have broken.
In both of these instances, the Commissioner did not outline any suggested punishments for Mr. Trudeau and as mentioned above, it would have ultimately been Trudeau’s decision as to whether any punishment would be carried out… on himself.
So far, we have established Prime Minister Trudeau does not respect ethics laws.
Admiration of Dictatorship
I want to believe that the whole purpose for wanting to lead a Western democratic country would be to honour and protect our system of democracy and the freedom and liberty that it grants through the Canadian Charter of Humans Rights and Freedoms and the rule of law. However, you know what happens when we assume.
Have a watch of this video from before Mr. Trudeau became Prime Minister. In this video he directly states he admires China because of their dictatorship. No joke!
He states that he admires China because they can get things done quickly because of their dictatorship.
Excuse me mister Trudeau, of course dictators can get things done quicker because they don’t have to answer to anyone, but I believe the whole purpose of a democracy is to prevent one single leader from taking whatever actions they want. Democracy takes longer because bills and laws must pass through parliament and congress and satisfy the rule of law.
Demonizing the Non-Vaccinated
In a video out of Quebec during Justin Trudeau’s 2021 election campaign, he calls the non-vaccinated racists, misogynists, anti-science, and says that “as leaders we must decide if we will tolerate these people”. Sounds a bit like someone with delusions of a genocidal dictatorship to me.
I’m sorry Mr. Trudeau but maybe nobody told you during your orientation as Prime Minister, but as the leader of a Western Democracy, you are here to serve ALL Canadians, not only the ones that agree with you. In your role you are not supposed to divide our nation, you are supposed to unite it.
Unfortunately, the actions of Justin Trudeau and many other government/health officials during the pandemic, and their hate rhetoric for the vaccine-free, have shown us that they care very little for democracy, human rights, and the rule of law, which bring us to my next topic.
The Truckers Saga
Some readers may have found the truckers to be a beacon of light and hope in a 2-year ocean of darkness while others may not have agreed with their message or tactics and cheered for our government’s actions. Either way, I ask that while reading this section you let go of those attachments.
Freedom and liberty in our democracy is not about whether you agree with someone else’s opinions or tactics (as long as they are non-violent), it’s about upholding the Canadian Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms. For instance, the freedom of expression and the freedom of assembly.
As the Trucker convoy made its way East from BC and Alberta to Ottawa, Canadians came out in the tens-hundreds of thousands on overpasses and roadsides in town and cities across Canada.
This was not broadcast on mainstream media which we know is heavily funded by our liberal government.
All one needed to do was turn on an independent media source or watch social media live streams to see just how much support there was for these truckers and that these gatherings were absolutely nothing but peaceful and hopeful.
The truckers gave these people hope for a united, free Canada, not a divided hateful Canada that our Prime Minister, and Provincial leaders have created and propagated.
The Ottawa truckers movement was very clear from the start that they would be nothing but peaceful and denounce any hateful or violent actions that others parties may bring to Ottawa. Their website was very clear on this and their goals. End all vaccine mandates and the digital vaccine passport system.
The support for this movement was immense and unexpected by the organizers. Their GoFundMe raised nearly 10 million by the time they arrived in Ottawa. Even after GoFundMe ended the campaign, the Give Send Go campaign raised additional millions of dollars.
Even with such large support from Canadian citizens, Prime Minister Trudeau decided to fan the flames of division and hate by calling the truckers and their supporters a “small fringe minority with unacceptable views”.
When the Truckers arrived in Ottawa the protest was something that has never been seen in Canada before. The protest was absolutely nothing but peaceful and they responded quickly to concerns and complaints about situations and individuals not embodying the message.
They stopped honking during the night, they cleaned and maintained statues (Terry Fox), they provided food and clothing to some homeless, they shoveled sidewalks, they cleaned graffiti of buildings, and they denounced hate.
There was one incident of a nazi flag and one of a confederate flag appearing during the early days of the protests but the truckers quickly denounced this as not part of what the protest was about and offered a reward to anyone that could identify these individuals.
Again, all one needed to do to get a clear picture of this peaceful protest/celebration was to watch alternative media and live streams from regular people walking around the protest. I suggest you go back and watch the live streams from Viva Frey.
But again, during the protest in Ottawa, Mr. Trudeau continued to promote hate and division in our country by demonizing the truckers and calling them racists, homophobic, transphobic, science deniers (as if science is a religion or something), etc. Here is a Tweet and some video clips.
https://rumble.com/vttw53-trudeau-responds-to-the-truckers-still-hiding-from-the-public.html
Even though there was no evidence of the Ottawa protest being anything but a peaceful assembly, Justin Trudeau decided to enact the emergencies act (previously the war act), giving the government emergency powers to take aggressive action against the truckers.
This appeared to be nothing more than Mr. Trudeau acting on his desire to squash dissent. In this video of the police action taken “squash” can be used in the literal sense. By a horse, nonetheless.
The actions taken by police in the last weekend of the protest were aggressive and unnecessary. Period. I suggest you have a look at live stream videos from people that were on the frontlines with the police.
By the way, any of the protestors and organizers that were arrested for peacefully protesting were only charged with mischief. Seems like a crime that requires violent police actions to me (sense sarcasm).
Mr. Trudeau justified using such emergency actions by saying the protestors were violent, racists, extremists, a threat to the city, wanted to overthrow the government, and were funded by international terrorist organizations. Sounds serious if any of it were true.
The truckers confirmed in written and verbal communications all along that they did not have an intent to overthrow the government, condemned any violence and racism during the protest (any of it that occurred came from anti-protestors and possibly Antifa/agent provocateurs), and they did their best to be respectful visitors in Ottawa.
Obviously, it was a large protest so some disruption was inevitable to residents, but that is also part of the point of a protest, otherwise no one would take it seriously.
Additionally, a report from Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) confirmed that the money raised by the truckers was not from international terrorist organizations, it was from individual Canadians that identified with the message of the truckers and were fed up with the pandemic measures. Basically, they wanted their freedom and liberty back.
Additionally, Go Fund Me and Give Send Go both confirmed FINTRAC’s findings directly to the Canadian parliament.
So, all the reasons used by Trudeau to invoke the emergencies act was, and has been, proven false and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association is suing him for it.
Not only does the Prime Minister admire dictators and act like one himself, he is also a hypocrite. During the 2020 farmer protests in India, Justin Trudeau said that Canada “would always stand up for peaceful protests around the world”. But now we know what he meant was he would support peaceful protests in his country ONLY if he agreed with the message.
I strongly suggest watching/listening to this 3 hour interview with the lawyer for the truckers. It may clear many things up for those that only watched mainstream media.
International Criticism
Following the truckers saga, the war in Ukraine broke out and soon after, Trudeau took a visit to Europe to speak to the EU. He was not well received there after speaking about standing up for freedom and democracy in the face of tyranny when he himself took violent, tyrannical actions against peaceful protestors in his own country,
Here are a few videos of what some members of parliament had to say, and others agreed.
“A dictatorship of the worst kind”
“He’s exactly like a tyrant, a dictator”
So far, we have determined that Justin Trudeau does not respect ethics laws, admires dictatorships, will spew hate rhetoric against those that do not agree with him, to the extent of illegally (just my opinion for now) taking aggressive, violent emergency police actions against peaceful protestors, and is viewed as threat to democracy by multiple international politicians.
In Part 2 we’ll have a look at Justin Trudeau’s connection to the World Economic Forum to understand why his government is taking increasingly more authoritarian powers.
good summary of what we have lived through - looking forward to part 2
