Will Canadian’s Right to Universal Healthcare Become a Privilege of Compliance
The Digital ID Chronicles Part 4
We now have yet one more example of how Canada’s federal liberal government lead by Justin Trudeau is terrifyingly far along the slippery slope of authoritarianism. There are many who are now calling Trudeau a tyrant and dictator. Tucker Carlson somewhat jokingly, not jokingly, questioned whether the USA should liberate Canadians.
I understand that many Canadians will say I am blowing things way out of proportion with what I write below. Our Western society is enlightened, inclusive, and we could never sink back into the grips of a totalitarian government who’s seemingly sole focus is power and control. We’ve been there and done that, we’ve learnt our lessons from history and fought too hard for our freedoms to let them slip away!
Three years ago, I was right there with you thinking those exact things. The threat of a totalitarian government didn’t even cross my mind, I barely even knew what that meant. But the events that took place over the course of the pandemic showed me our government(s)’s true colours and woke me up to the fact that we are, and have been, on the slippery slope to Canada, and possible much of the world, being ruled by a totalitarian government.
As the saying goes: “There is nothing new under the sun.”
I really don’t like making this comparison but honestly, the phrase “do we tolerate these people” uttered from the mouth of a democratic country’s leader is revolting and should sound the alarm to get this guy out of here immediately!
I rarely overreact or jump to extreme conclusions on things, and I truly don’t think I am doing that with this topic. The way Trudeau and our federal government have been acting is getting scary. It seems pretty clear that Justin Trudeau is a globalist, WEF ideologue who believes that the few should rule the many in some type of authoritarian, fascist dictatorship. I mean he said on camera that he respects China’s basic dictatorship because they can get things done quick, partially referring to implementing green energy (which by the way China didn’t do).
But guess what Justin, just because you think your agenda is virtuous doesn’t give you the right to push it on a democratic nation through dictatorial measures. Period!
I mean seriously people; he said this on camera before he was elected Prime Minister and somehow Canadians still elected him to lead a democratic nation. Come on!
Trudeau seems to want to implement the WEF’s Great Reset and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He appears to be moving our country further towards communism and fascism and is determined to implement digital IDs that would make a centrally controlled, digital social credit system ready to go at the press of a button.
Putting all this technological, digital, and censorship (bill C18) infrastructure in place while nudging Canadians to be comfortable with all these steps has been called creating a turn-key totalitarian state.
Everything is ready to go, once they give the order, the key is turned, and we are now in a complete surveillance state ruled by a totalitarian ideologue.
Why more people are not concerned about this, never mind terrified, blows my mind.
Which brings me to today’s example of Trudeau flexing his wannabe dictator muscles.
As part of a top-up to the Canada Health Transfer, which is the federal funding agreement to provinces for Canada’s universal healthcare (about 25-30% of provinces healthcare costs), Trudeau has made the funding conditional on modernizing the healthcare system and improving how health system data are collected, shared, used and reported to promote transparency and manage public health emergencies.
This is simply a nice way of saying digital health ID.
This is exactly where socialism goes wrong, what you were once told was a universal human right (healthcare), now becomes a privilege for compliance with your authoritarian government or dictator. Same deal with universal basic income which would undoubtedly be linked to your digital ID and only given out if one complies with whatever the government says.
If they can grant it, they can take it away, dependence on our government is not freedom, it’s an agreement you make to be subservient, and this becomes crystal clear when supposed rights become privileges.
These aren’t good people and don’t have your best interest in mind. It’s all about blindly pushing their ideology at all costs and wrapping it up in a nice bow so we think it’s for the greater good or the good of the planet or whatever other virtue signaling catch phrase you want to throw in here.
No government should have this type of power regardless of whether you agree with them because one day someone you don’t agree with will be in power and they will get to wield these same tools that are easily used to oppress. The system needs to be set up to limit government powers. Such things should be in the hands of the people not a central government.
Luckily each province gets to make their own specific Canada Health Transfer deal with the federal government and so far, 2 provincial Premiers support Canadians medical privacy and other rights and freedoms. Daniel Smith out of Alberta and Scott Moe out of Saskatchewan have officially stated they will not implement a digital ID and any data reporting will respect citizens legal right to medical privacy.
I hope more provinces join Alberta and Saskatchewan in this decision, but I will not hold my breath. It’s we the people’s responsibility to speak up.
Now is the time to stand with Premiers Smith and Moe and say NO!
Bombard your provincial members of parliament (MLAs) and your premier’s office with emails and snail mail letters telling them that you don’t want a digital ID and will not comply if it’s implemented. Explain that this is the path to a social credit score, digital identity surveillance state and we cannot take one more step down this road.
Of course, they will tell you it won’t be used for such purposes, and it will be beneficial for you. So, be sure to remind them that while they may have virtuous intents, this is the technology that can be used to usher in a totalitarian, surveillance state, and they cannot promise that the next government elected to power will not use it for such nefarious purposes, or that the situation may change and they will do the same. Therefore, the current government should not be granted such powers regardless of their intent.
I hope I am wrong. I hope this is a situation where I really have overreacted and taken an unwarranted extreme point of view, but from where I’m sitting the evidence keeps pilling up. At the end of the day peacefully fighting for your rights is never a bad thing.
We only get the rights we are willing to fight for!
