Sad, I have followed the stats since start of the pandemic. Did much analysis on data from ontario and around the world. You try to tell friends and others about what the data indicates and they won't believe it, you offer to show it to them right on gov websites and they don't want to look at it. I have tried to be kind to people, but their implication is that I am stupid or a lier. I have been left to concluded that those who won't even look for themselves are idiots, and are liars to themselves. Sad.
Yup. You can show them the proof, but if it doesn't align with their views they have been programmed with from the news and government then they don’t want to hear it or even be near it. Some might be idiots as you say, but it is a huge chunk of pride to swallow to admit they have been utterly fooled for the past 2 years and have been told to throw morals and ethics out the window. And many of them did. To the extent of segregating and discriminating against friends and family. Some people with integrity have started apologizing but others simply will not admit their mistakes because it would be so painful and humbling to do so.
